Amafirlian alternative for a rhombic dodecahedron. It contains 12 Amafirlian squares.
Due to the fact that they are flexible they can be bent so the 4 corners are not in one plane anymore. As a result this is not really a rhombic dodecahedron anymore, but closer to a cube combined with an octahedron.
Building Instructions Edit
- Build a normal rhombic dodecahedron.
- For each of the 12 rhombic faces repeat:
- Take out the 4 rods that bound the rhombic face.
- Put in an Amafirlian square.
- The Amafirlian square needs to be bent around a diagonal to fit in.
