As promised, here's my first construction. there were exactly the right number of bars and pentagon panels, and only -2 triangle panels.
Panels, btw, are hard to get used to... My geomag experience so far has been sans panels, using extra bars for stability.

As you can see, the grey panels are translucent. The white and black panels are opaque. Very very nice - i just wish i had a ton more now...
