(0,0,12,30)-deltahedron consisting of two truncated hexagonal triangles (bent outwards) that are connected as antiprisms and are vertically extended with a number of layers. The spiral is created by 3 grooves that are bent inwards (actually causing the two truncated hexagonal triangles to be bent).

It is also completely rigid, and highly reminiscent of Alain Lobel's frames.

This structure can be further extended by adding more layers.

Building Instructions Edit

  1. Build the polyhedron without the 3 inward bent grooves.
    • Make sure the middle of the sides of the truncated hexagonal triangles are connected.
  2. Bend 3 spiral grooves (connecting the middle of the side of the truncated hexagonal triangles).
    • At the same time the truncated hexagonal triangles are bent as well.
